About Me
Mr. Koros is a member of the Board of NWHSA. He chairs the Strategy, Technical and Business Development Committee and sits in the Finance Committee.
He is an Environmental Toxicologist scientist with over 10 years of progressive experience in research, design, proposal development, and implementation of evidence-based health science research.
He holds a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Nairobi, A Master of Science in Public Health and Community Development from Great Lakes University and currently pursuing a PHD in Toxicology.
Mr. Koros worked at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) as a Senior Research Officer in Change Management, Medical Research and Health Policy. Further, Koros has published several research papers in the medical field and also presented study findings in local and international conferences.
He served as a Member of Parliament for Sigowet-Soin Constituency between 2017 – 2022 where he was the representative of his constituency in planning strategies, developing policies, making laws, overseeing revenues and expenditures proposed by government and discussing parliamentary business.
With skills and experience in the use of effective, strategic, and culturally sensitive human communication and information technologies, he has contributed to improved health outcomes through increased access and adherence to medical research interventions.
He is also a community development enthusiast with many years of community research and engagement with various communities on ways to alleviate poverty related diseases.
