Eng. Alima is the Water Secretary at the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation.  He is a member of the Strategy, Technical and Business Development and Audit Committees.

He holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi and has a wealth of technical and managerial experience gained while working with the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation in Various positions.
