Eng. Julius K. Mugun, P.E, MIEK, MCIArb is the Ag. Chief Executive Officer of National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority. He brings on board a wealth of over twenty years technical experience in the water sector. Prior to his appointment, he was in charge of Infrastructure Development and Emergency Response.
Eng. Mugun has expertise in planning, design and construction of water projects, geotechnical investigations, contract management, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms, Dispute Adjudication and Arbitration Agreements.
Eng. Mugun holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
He is a registered Professional Engineer of Civil Engineering and a Corporate Member of diverse professional bodies such as Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Tunneling Association of Kenya (TAK) and International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) Kenya.
