Water for School Projects was a government initiative funded by the Ministry of Water, Sanitation & Irrigation. The project’s main objective was to provide adequate water for use in schools and surrounding communities. NWHSA was tasked to implement drilling, equipping, and operationalization of thirteen boreholes as shown in the table below.

Scope of works for each borehole included:

• 24 meters cubed pressed steel tank
• Installation of an 18-meter high steel tower
• Construction of a 3m x 2m powerhouse
• Construction of a 3m x 2m water kiosk
• Construction of a 1m x 1m x 1m borehole chamber with lockable manhole
• Installation of 5 meters cubed plastic tank on the water kiosk roof slab
• Fitting of solar structure
